Chocolates! They hold a special place in my heart, a love that began in my childhood. Back then, I had no idea where they came from or how they were made. All I knew was that when I saw those commercials with people indulging in chocolates, I wanted to have them too.

I’ve had countless chocolates throughout my life, and my love for them has never faded. They are simply irresistible to me.

During my teenage years, I was introduced to the art of chocolate making as a dessert experiment at home. My mother brought home the compounds and other ingredients, and we embarked on the journey of creating our own chocolates. I was mesmerized by the process – witnessing chocolates being crafted was like magic to me. I started experimenting with different ingredients, flavors, and textures, but it remained a hobby limited to our home and special occasions.

Meanwhile, the internet became my source of knowledge, expanding my understanding of chocolate making beyond our kitchen. It was during Diwali in 2018, while making chocolates, that the idea of turning my passion into a business struck me. Why not give it a try? Why not pursue this dream?

Discussing the idea with my husband, he too was impressed, and upon returning home from Sri Lanka, I began my journey. I had no clue where to source materials, what flavors to explore, or how to care for chocolates. But that didn’t deter me. I was excited to embark on this new venture. I invested my savings in raw materials, experimenting with different combinations and flavors.

That’s how House Of Handmade was born! My first customer motivated me, even though the chocolates I initially made were average. I invested more in raw materials, took risks, and embraced opportunities. Over the course of five years, I delved into the world of chocolates, studying their components, discovering their best combinations and pairing them with different flavors. Some experiments failed, while others became classics. I discovered mouth-watering flavors that became my unique selling points.

Participating in exhibitions and showcasing my chocolates in various cities, I received an amazing response that fueled the growth of House Of Handmade into a well-established chocolate brand. Over these years, I continued to learn, create new flavors, play with textures, and explore new recipes.

From selling chocolates for just Rs. 5, I have transformed them into a luxury product. We now work with high-quality ingredients and uncommon flavor combinations, using covertures to create chocolates that delight the palate. Our chocolates undergo delicate processing, ensuring the highest quality. We constantly enhance the taste, aiming to transport anyone who indulges in our flavors to a world of bliss.

Reaching a milestone where we can produce chocolates in bulk, we have expanded to export our chocolates, spreading happiness worldwide and satisfying chocolate cravings. Our tagline says it all – “You crave, we make” – because we are here to make your chocolate experience even better.
